One day left in 2012

Really should be doing this tomorrow, but it will be a long day at work.  Closing out the year..............  I'm sure many of you will be working long tomorrow also.

Couple of quick thoughts about 2012:

It's the first full year I've had employment since 2008.

My Mother & Aunt came to visit and it was good to get to visit with them.

Everyone in the family seems to have had good health this year.

Starting to enjoy photography again.  Hopefully 2013 will be the year to start getting into it more.

Really have enjoyed watching the tech scene this year.  Apple, Google and Microsoft have all done some great and interesting things this past year.  I really hope they keep it up and drive each other to greater innovation.  2013 could be the start of something great.  Maybe this is the year that some of the old line tech companies like IBM and HP get back in the game and stop just giving their money back to the shareholders which tends to be their senior management.

Don't say it as often as I should, but "Thanks" for the friendship and support to the many folks that have been there in 2012.  To many to mention, but just to mention +Fran Downey , +Beda Warrick , +Glenda Camaret , +Rick Fogarty , +Bill Jackson and the many more that I should mention.

I do use Google for just about every thing on the net, so here are my requests for 2013:

     Would you please add some updates to Google Voice.
     Keep updating contracts.  In that same vein, would you please acquire either
     Geni or Ancestey.com....... PLEASE.
     Continue to improve Picasa.

Sure do hope the +Atlanta Braves can finally win the WS in 2013.  Thanks Chipper for all the great years.  Enjoy your retirement...

Enough rambling.  Could put more nonsense down, but "Nuff Said".  Go Smoke'en if you got'em.  Have a great 2013.
