Q28

Sitting here thinking about the new year and what it may bring, when for some strange reason my mind started to drift back in time.  To 1984 to be specific.  Now mind you, my memory is not what it used to be, so I thought I better capture these thoughts right now. As we start a new year, it is sometimes good that we stop and reflect upon what has preceded this moment in time.

IBM Quarter Century Club Induction

IBM Quarter Century Club Induction Today, Thursday, April 23, 2009 I enter the Quarter Century Club (QCC) at IBM.  I really never expected this day to come, but it did and it came quicker then I thought it would.  I have met many wonderful people over the past 25 years.  Sadly, I have not kept in touch like I should have and I have forgotten way to many names over the years.  It has been a great career and I will take many good memories with me as I continue life's journey.  I've learn many things and have grown professionally over all these years.  For all of this I am grateful to IBM. Sadly, IBM has laid me off and Monday, April 27, 2009 will be my last day as an employee of IBM.  All good things come to an end and it is now my time to move on and seek out the next chapter in my career.  To all my friends at IBM, good luck, and stay in touch.  To all the former IBM'ers that have already left, look me up and let me know what you're doing.
